Reidsville GA,
Abigail Schlenker, age 58, passed away on Friday July 27, 2018 at Optim Medical Center Tattnall. The Hinesville native lived much of her life in this area, moving away for only a few years to Pennsylvania and Germany. Abigail, as the family recalls, was always full of life and loved to laugh. Whether it was kidding her twin brother, pranking her children, or just going to a local hangout; she loved to have a good time. In the late 2000’s she was diagnosed with diabetes. The disease was very hard on her body and caused a myriad of other health issues. With her ailing heath, she found new pastimes, which included drawing and crossword puzzles. Through it all, she had an upbeat and positive attitude. Abigail is preceded in death by her father, a brother, a sister, and a grandson.
Left to share the many memories made are her sons, Ronald Fall of Indiana and Kenneth Fall of Ludowici; daughters, Karen Crapo of Ludowici and Doris Crapo of Jesup; mother, Margot Futch of Hinesville; a twin brother, Nathan (Susanne) Lawler of Hinesville; sisters, Margie Gauchier of Colorado, Alma (Bill) Riedell of Hinesville, and Mary (John) Winkles of Fleming; 13 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many faithful friends.
Memorial services are scheduled for Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the chapel of Low Country Cremation & Burial. All family and friends are invited to attend and share their favorite remembrance of Abigail. Services will conclude following the closing of the service.
