Adrian Gene Black

Adrian Black, age 65 passed away on January 21, 2024 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, GA after a brief illness. He was born on August 17, 1958 in Savannah, GA. He moved to Portal, GA over 20 years ago. Adrian loved animals, he took them in when it was cold and made sure any animal that was hungry had food. He had a heart of gold and he was always willing to help anyone if he could. Adrian is gone to be with his father, George Black; his mother, Barbara Saxon; 2 sisters, Carlene Faulk and Pamela Black; 2 brothers, Bucky Black and Chris Black.

Left to cherish his memories are is daughter, Kelly Jarrell of Springfield , GA;  2 brothers, Barney Black of Hardeeville SC. and Curtis Black ( Stephanie ) of Statesboro, GA;   5 sisters, Georgia Corbett of Savannah, GA,  Mildred Black of Portal, GA,  Renee Black, Melanie Hones and Jeanine Stafford all of New Jersey; 3 grandchildren; his little dog Rusty who he loved so much. Special thank you and appreciation to Brenda Saxon; also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.

Family will do services at a later date.
