Alma (Tucker) Myers

Mrs. Alma Tucker Myers, age 63 passed away Friday November 30, 2012 at her residence.  The Emanuel County native had lived in Candler County most of her life moving to Claxton two years ago.  She was a homemaker and a member of Collins Full Gospel.  She loved to make biscuits and drink her coffee.  She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Eva Maude Tucker; siblings, Alice McCullough, Shirley Fail, Bobby Tucker; grandsons, Jody Lynn Myers and Christopher DeLoach.

She is survived by her husband of 47yrs. Ronnie Myers of Claxton; daughters, Angela Myers of Hazlehurst, Samantha Tapley of Claxton, Tina Myers of Brooklet; Sons, Ronnie Myers, Jr. of Collins, Donnie Myers of Claxton; Brothers, Shorty Tucker of Twin City, Redd Tucker of Texas; Sisters, Christine Cobb, Eva Mae Sparks, Naomi Googe all of Metter, Minnie Coursey of Cobbtown, Mary Ellen Sparks of Brooklet; Seventeen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will begin at 6:00pm on Tuesday December 4, 2012 from the Reidsville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Wednesday December 5, 2012 from the Collins Full Gospel with the Reverend Andrew Nelms officiating.  Interment will follow in the Brewton Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Donnie Myers, Stacey Boatright, Ronnie Lee Myers, Dylan Lee, Dusty Myers, Cody Myers, Tony Myers and Sam Way.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jimmy Boatright, Danny Pittman, Jeremy DeLoach, and Timothy Boatright.
