Glennville,
Alton “Wade” Clark, age 54, passed away Friday, April 29, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Claxton on May 19, 1967 to Elton Wade Clark and Elizabeth Love Clark and had lived in Glennville since 1984. Wade had worked at Rotary Corporation for many years and would love to go fishing and hunting. He was a member of Pineview Baptist Church and is preceded in death by his father, and a sister, Beth Clark.
He is survived by his daughters, Margo Joyce Clark of Glennville and Brittany Clark Reese of Claxton; mother, Elizabeth Clark of Glennville; his step mother whom he loved dearly, Sharon Clark of Glennville; sister and brother in law, Nicole and Virgil DeLoach of Claxton; a special aunt, Mary Clark of Glennville; grandchildren, Brantley Clark and Isabella Clark; several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Monday, May 2, 2022 from the Chapel of the Glennville Funeral Home with the Reverend Mike Gay officiating. Interment will follow in the Pigot Branch Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00am also at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Tim Hunter, Virgil DeLoach, Claude Dixon, Kenny Duffany, Kent Flowers, and Seth Anderson.
