Ann Lynn Durrence

Mrs. Ann Durrence, age 87, passed away on Saturday August 31, 2024, at the Southeast Georgia Health Systems Senior Care Center in Brunswick. She was born in Collins on January 21, 1937, to Howard and Eudell Collins Lynn and had lived in the Reidsville area most of her life. She was a nurse that was employed with Tattnall Memorial Hospital for many years. Ann enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her hobbies included reading, doing puzzles and spending time at the beach. She is a member of the Reidsville Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth Durrence; and her siblings, Jim Lynn and Peggy Gayhart.

She is survived by her children, Kathy Heath of Brunswick, Stevie Durrence of Reidsville, Greg Durrence of Brunswick and Karla (Jimmy)McCullough of Richmond Hill; grandchildren, Autumn (Ken) Prescott, Chance Durrence, Megan (Marco) Micaletto, and Morgan (Avry) Anderson; great grandchildren, Ariel Prescott, Sarah Prescott, and Asher Anderson; numerous nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00pm on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00am on Friday, September 6, 2024, from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial with the Dr. Charles Jonas officiating. Interment will be in the Shiloh Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be David Durrence, Kyle Durrence, Gary Durrence, Dennis Durrence, Rus Monroe and Kenny Hommel.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Tattnall County Animal Shelter, Post Office 25, Reidsville, GA 30453.
