Ann Wedincamp

Ms. Ann Wedincamp, age 87, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at the Coastal Manor Nursing Home in Ludowici under the care of Georgia Hospice Care.  She was born in Hazlehurst on April 7, 1937 to Rexford and Millie Hutchinson Smith and had lived in Glennville most of her life.  Ms. Ann was a retired seamstress and enjoyed baking and working in her yard.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Glennville and is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 47 years, Grady L. Wedincamp, Jr. and her siblings, Rex Smith, Jr., and David Smith.

She is survived by her siblings, Geri Anderson and Tom (Helen) Smith all of Brunswick; special niece and nephew, Tami (Phillip) Calderone of Darien and Perry (Rhonda) Smith of Hortense; several other nephews and a niece.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00pm on Friday, July 5, 2024 with the funeral services to follow at 2:00pm from the Chapel of the Glennville Funeral Home with the Reverend Mike Howard officiating. Interment will be in the Jesup City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bryant Smith, Nicholas Calderone and Seth Prescott.
