Ashley Lynn Ademir-Cruz

Ashley Cruz, age 36, passed away unexpectedly at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.  The native of Brunswick had an adventurous life living in various parts of the United States, including Maine, Florida, and Ohio.  One of her most lengthy residences was in North Georgia in the Blue Ridge Mountains.  Perhaps it was her love of butterflies, which are plentiful there in the spring, or excellent fishing that the streams and rivers provide that held her there.  She made Bulloch County her home for the past 6 years, however.  She loved her family deeply and she will be missed by all who knew her.

Ashely is survived by her three daughters, Nealey Stewart, Natalia Stewart, and Isabella Cruz; mother, Carla Crider; father and “other” mother, Odis and Andrea Deloach; fiancé, Kyle Posdas; four sisters, Felicia (Richard) Lee, Shauna Deloach, Sabrina Morgan, and Katrina Deloach; ex-husband, Johnathan Stewart; a host of nieces and nephews; other family and many friends also survive.

The family will be hosting a Celebration of Ashley’s life on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the home of her father located at 210 Sandy Creek Road, Pembroke GA.  All family and friends are invited to attend and share memories of a life gone to soon.Low Country Cremation & Burial is serving the Cruz family during this time of bereavement.
