Aubrey L. Wilds

Obituary
Aubrey L. Wilds,
age 62 passed away Monday,
December 20, 2010 at his residence after a sudden
illness. He was a correctional officer working many
years at Wayne State Prison and retiring from Long
State Prison. He was a member of Rising Sun Lodge
#32 and attended Stoney Hill Baptist Church.
He loved to fish and was preceded in death by his
wife, Barbara G. Wilds and his father, Clinton Wilds.
He is survived by his mother, Oletta Toby Durden of Aline.
Brothers, Larry Wilds and Stacy Wilds both of Reidsville,
Smutty Durden of Aline. Sisters, Virginia Gail Williams of
Athens, Susie Aldridge of Swainsboro, Sherry Durden of
Aline. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation and Funeral Services
Visitation will begin at 6:00pm on Wednesday from the Reidsville Chapel.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Thursday, December 23, 2010
from the Reidsville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home with the Rev.
Harris Nix officiating. Interment will follow in the Stoney Hill Baptist Church
Cemetery with Masonic Rites and Honors rendered by the Department of Corrections.
