Barbara J. English age 69 passed away Monday, May 19, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her family and under the care of Spanish Oaks Hospice. The Savannah native had lived in Pembroke most of her life. She was a homemaker that loved to sew. Mrs. English was a member of Beulah Baptist Church and is preceded in death by her parents, James and Margaret Garrett.
She is survived by her daughters and sons in law, Billie Jean Woodcock Collins and Marty of Darien, Penny Lynn Ruarks and Dan of Savannah, Donna R. Davis and Russell of Brooklet and TJ Hall(Tyra Hall) of Statesboro; ten grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00am Saturday, May 24, 2014 from the Emmanuel Community Church with the services to follow at 1:00pm with the Reverend Mitch Lynn officiating.
Memorials may be given to Emmanuel Community Church, 141 Little Creek Road, Pembroke, GA 31321
