Barbara (Kirkland) Warren McGarity

Barbara Kirkland Warren McGarity, age 70, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2015 at the Community Hospice House in Vidalia.  She lived in Reidsville before spending most of her life in Toombs County.  Barbara was a nurse that specially loved taking care of the elderly.  She enjoyed seeing about her animals.  She was a member of Bear Creek Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon and is preceded in death by her parents, BB and Katie Kirkland;  husband, John McGarity, siblings, Sheila Kay Kirkland, Richard Kirkland, and Clifford Kirkland.

She is survived by her children, Billy (Tammie) Warren of Tybee Island, Ben (LeAnn) Warren of Reidsville, and Bobby (Rebecka) Warren of Hendersonville, TN; sister, Katie Johnson of Vidalia, seven grandchildren, a great grandson; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00pm on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 with the funeral services to follow at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home & Crematory with the Reverend Andrew Nelms officiating.  Interment will follow in the Reidsville City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Lee Warren, Jacob Warren, Ben Sanders, Brad Sanders, Landon Spivey, and Brett Braddy.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Zachary Gay.
