Barbara A. Wilkins, age 79, passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her family and under the care of Island Hospice. She was a native of Boston, Massachusetts, moving to Savannah 2 years ago. Barbara was retired from the state of Massachusetts after 25 years and then owned and operated a ceramic shop. She was a loving sister and a talented artist who loved to draw, paint and do crafts. She was preceded in death by her brother, Leslie D. Marsh.

She is survived by her brother, Walter J. Wilkins of Savannah; sister, Nancy L. (Anthony) Medeiros of Savannah; also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Private family services will be held.

The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the excellent care given by Island Hospice.
