Becky (Thompson) Anderson

Mrs. Becky Anderson , age 55, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at the Community Hospice Inpatient Center in Vidalia surrounded by her family.  The Tattnall County native had lived in Reidsville most of her life.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.  She loved spending time with her family and especially going out to eat seafood.  Becky is preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Thompson; sisters, Beverly Wilson and Bonnell Manuel.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Danny Anderson; sons, Daniel (Amy) Anderson and Cody (Angel) Anderson all of Reidsville; brother, Brad Thompson of Reidsville; granddaughters, Gracie and Allison Anderson;  special sister-in-law, Ann (Merrill) Anderson of Reidsville; step mother, Tommie Thompson of Lyons; step siblings, Judy Copeland, Kathy Bush, and Randy Bush all of Vidalia; aunts, Sandra Laakao of Grovetown and Editha Brigman of Vidalia; brother in law, Dean (Betty) Anderson of Reidsville; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00pm on Thursday from the funeral home.  Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Friday, August 4, 2017 from the Friendship Baptist Church with the Reverends Curt Tootle and Jeffery Barnard officiating.  Interment will follow in the Anderson Family Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Sack Fowler, Rudy Fowler, Dylan Durrence, Louie Martin, Heath Harrelson, and Mickey Prescott.

Memorials may be given to Tattnall CARES.
