Betsy Mixon

Ms. Betsy Mixon , age 88, passed away Monday, February 13, 2017 at Memorial Health Medical University in Savannah.  The Emanuel County native had lived in Toombs County most of her life before moving to Glennville a year ago.  She retired from Winn Dixie in Vidalia after nineteen years of service.  She loved to fish and was of the Baptist faith.  Ms. Betsy is preceded in death by her husband, John Morgan Mixon.

She is survived by her son, John Mixon, Sr. of Glennville; grandchildren, Jay Mixon of Glennville and Zach Mixon of Soperton; eight great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be private.
