Billy Dean Jarriel, age 77, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Memorial University Health Medical Center in Savannah. Billy was a 1955 graduate of Collins High School and a member of and Deacon at Reidsville Baptist Church. For most of his professional career he was in the construction industry. He loved to fish, but most of all he loved his family. Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly S. Jarriel and his parents, Stephen and Maxie S. Jarriel.
Billy is survived by his two daughters; Angelia (Gary) Leggett of Claxton and Stephanie (Kenny) Lewis of Hagan; 3 sisters, Glenda (Hal) Hicks of Lizella, Margie (Glenn) Williams of Reidsville, and Martha (Donald) Blair of Lizella; 2 sisters-inlaw, Myrtis Tanner and Faye Sapp of Claxton; one brother, Jimmy Jarriel of Collins; also surviving are numerous other relatives to include grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 13 2015 from the Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 14, 2015 from the Reidsville Baptist Church, with Rev. Steve Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery near Collins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests remembrances are made to: Reidsville Baptist Church 146 East Brazell Street, Reidsville, GA 30453.
