Billy Brazell Wood

CLAXTON
Billy Brazell Wood, age 56 passed away Thursday, February 6, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his family and under the care of Living Care Hospice after a long illness. He was a native of Claxton and lived there most of his life. He was a member of Pigot Branch Baptist Church. Billy was a talented carpenter who loved to go fishing. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Brazell.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Mildred A. and Edward Mackinnon of Claxton; brothers, Stevie Anderson and Jerry “Tiny” Brazell both of Claxton, Rev. Andrew Brazell of King George, VA; step-brother, Rickie (Billie) Wood of Dayton, Ohio; sisters, Debra (Ellis) Futch of Long County, Kathy (John) Arce of Carrie NC. and Mary Ann Boone of Gatesville, TX; numerous other relatives also survive.
Visitation and a celebration of life will be held Friday, February 7, 2014 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home, Glennville Chapel.
