Bobby Lee Parnell

Mr. Bobby L. Parnell, age 78, passed away, Friday, December 17, 2021 at Memorial Health in Savannah surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on March 12, 1943 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to Oza Lee and Barbara Rumph Parnell.  He lived most of his life in Mobile Alabama and moved to Tattnall County 3 years ago.  He served 8 years in the US Navy and 14 years in the Army National Guard.  Bobby was a plumber by trade and also a long haul truck driver where he and his wife would enjoy seeing the United States together.  He enjoyed fishing and enjoyed taking care of his animals.  He had goats, guineas, ducks, chickens and dogs.  His favorite pastime was being with his great grandchildren and looking at Tik Tac (Tik Tok) as he would call it.  He is preceded in death by his parents and a special grandmother, Rosetta Rumph.

Mr. Parnell is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sandra Parnell of the Gooseneck Community; children, Courtney (Arthur) Nalker of Glennville and Michael Parnell of the Gooseneck Community; brothers, Jerry (Diane) Parnell and Ronald (Maria) Parnell all of Mobile, AL; 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at a later time.
