Brandy Jackson Scott

Brandy Jackson Scott, age 34, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL.  She was born on October 17, 1990, in Macon and had lived in Tattnall County most of her life.

A proud graduate of Tattnall County High School, class of 2009, Brandy carried the values learned during her education into her adult life, fostering a warm and nurturing environment for her family and friends. She was known for her kind heart, though she had a knack for being fashionably late to gatherings. Brandy was a beloved homemaker, known fondly for her exceptional cooking skills and her unwavering dedication to ensuring that everyone around her was felt at home. Brandy's life was characterized by her generous spirit; she consistently put the needs of others before her own, embodying the selflessness that defined her personality.

Brandy found great joy in exploring the beauty of nature, particularly in the mountains, where she spent many cherished moments.  She is a member of the Reidsville Baptist Church and is preceded in death by her father, Clifford Sanford Jackson.

She is survived by her husband of 13 years, Josh Scott of Collins; her mother and dad, Angel and David Herrington of Collins; her children, Noel (Houston) Caryl of NY, Seth Scott (Destiny) Scott of Reidsville, Mason, Malachi, Elijah, and EmmaLyn Scott all of Collins; siblings, Dusty Henderson of SC and Nichole Jackson of GA; mother-in-law, Delores Scott of Reidsville;  grandmother, Carolyn Herrington of Collins; cousin, Samantha Griffin of Collins

Memorial funeral services will be conducted 11:00am on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at the Reidsville Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Charles Jonas officiating.
