Brenda (Alexander) Brazell

September 22, 1945 — March 9, 2021

Reidsville

Reidsville,

Brenda L. Brazell, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021.  The Tattnall County native lived her entire life in this community and was a dedicated Christian and member of Lighthouse Pentecostal Holiness Church in Collins.  Brenda was known by all to be a dedicated and devoted individual in all aspects of her life.  She worked for over 20 years for Royden Wear in Reidsville before going on to work many more years at Oxford Industries in Lyons.  In fact, the only reason that she decided to “retire for good” was that her beloved husband of over 58 years, Louie Brazell, told her that he needed her at home more!  Indeed, the family recounts Ms. Brenda being the backbone of the family.  No matter the situation she was always the one that ensured everyone else had everything they needed and that they were supported in whatever way she could assist.  She definitely was a doting wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  One of the ways she expressed her love was through cooking.  Each member of the family can attest to the fact that she was one of the best cooks in the county.  Even while working and supporting her family, she found time to have a couple of hobbies.  One of which was her talent in growing roses.  Her rose bush was more like a tree!  She was also a member of the “Silver Sneakers” group that met weekly at Meadows Wellness Center in Vidalia.  After a life of giving to everyone around her; God has given her peace and her Heavenly reward.  She is preceded in death by her parents,  and her best friend and husband, Jack Louie Brazell.

Left to cherish a lifetime of memories are her children, Louie Brazell of Collins and Jennifer Brazell-Malone of Reidsville; three grandchildren, Justin (Jessica) Brazell, Jenna Dasher, and Marlee (Dalton) Powell; Special Grandson, Dillon Blizzard; great grandchild, Jaylee Kate Brazell; a special friend, Margaret Sanderson of Collins; other relatives and friends also survive.

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the chapel of Low County Cremation & Burial.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021 beginning at 11:00 am at the chapel of Low Country Cremation & Burial with Rev. Greg Smith officiating.  Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Steven Blizzard, Dillon Blizzard, Matt Blazzard, Bobby Blizzard, Shannon Cranford, and Rudy Fowler.

Honorary pallbearer is Darryl Thigpen.

In lieu of flowers, the family would be honored by memorial donations to Lighthouse Pentecostal Holiness Church, 773 Little Flock Church Rd, Collins, GA 30421
