Brenda Sue Oliver

Brenda Sue Hutcheson Oliver, age 76, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024 at her daughter’s residence surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Gentiva Hospice.  She was born in Reidsville on April 16, 1948 to Claude and Alma Hutcheson and had lived in Collins all of her life.  Brenda was a member of the Collins High School Class of 1966 and had retired from the Reidsville Elementary School.  She loved to tend to her flowers, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren.  She was of the Baptist Faith and is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth Oliver; and her sibling, Bobby Hutcheson and Jeroldine Drury.

She is survived by her children, James Quentin (Kelly) Oliver of Collins, Marcie Oliver (Brian) Morgan of Cobbtown and Kenneth Shaun Oliver (Kelly) of Collins; special daughter in love, Mary Ann Oliver; grandchildren, Alanna Martin (Luke), Logan Oliver (Nick), Trent Morgan (Brenda), Taylor Oliver Hinojosa (Jonathon), Paige Oliver (Devon), and Kalie Oliver (Blake); 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at the Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
