Bruce Alen Durr

Bruce Alen Durr, age 64, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024 at his residence under the care of Regency Hospice.  He was born in Kanas City, MO on June 26, 1959 to Lilburn Jackson and Glenna Imler Durr.  He had lived in Texas for many years moving to Reidsville 17 years ago.  Bruce was an Electrical Engineer and Construction Estimator for many years before he retired.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, boating, fishing  traveling and Nascar racing.  He was of the Baptist faith and is preceded in death by his father, Lilburn Jackson Durr and his son, Lilburn D. Durr.

Bruce is survived by his wife of 29 years, Lisa Durr of Reidsville; his mother, Glenna Durr of Panama City, FL; his children, Clay (Lindsay) Williams of Cobbtown, Emily Durr of Register, and Jessica Durr of Reidsville; his siblings, Barbara (Joe) Boudreau of Panama City, FL, and Bridget (Wesley) Waid of TX; his father and mother in law, Tom (Hazel) Spell of Cobbtown and Lois Asbridge of Richmond Hill; brother in law, Louie Spell of Cobbtown; grandchildren, Gabe, Jackson, and River; numerous nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at 2:00pm with the funeral services to follow at 3:00pm from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial with Reverend John Woodall officiating.
