Burneana Anderson

Burneana (Neana) Anderson, age 54, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Tattnall Healthcare.  The Reidsville native lived in Reidsville her entire life.  Neana was a fun-loving person that loved her family.  Her entire life, up until her mother’s death, she was never apart from her mother.  Neana, “Sis” as her siblings knew her, ruled the house during their years together.  Sis would always insist that the family gather and watch Hee-Haw and Andy Griffith.  Among her other favorite activities were shelling peas, coloring, and playing records; especially George Jones and Conway and Loretta.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Leroy and Mrs. Annie Anderson and a sister-in-law, Becky Anderson.

Left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Dean (Betty) Anderson, Danny Anderson, Merrill (Ann) Anderson all of Reidsville; a sister, Kay (Charles) Oge of Louisiana; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at the chapel of Low Country Cremation & Burial.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at the chapel of Low Country Cremation & Burial with the Rev. Jeffrey Barnard officiating.  Interment will follow in the Anderson Family Cemetery.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the entire staff of Tattnall Healthcare; especially, Beth Ray, Cynthia Maynor, and Robin Kirby for the love and care shown Neana throughout the years.
