Caroline Hodges Roberts, age 87, died January 17, 2015. Caroline was born April 10, 1927 in Atlanta, GA to Samuel Norwood Hodges, Sr. and Marian Wells Hodges. She graduated from North Fulton High School in 1944 and Agnes Scott College in 1948. She served as youth director at Rock Springs Presbyterian Church and later served as church secretary. She married her beloved Marvin on July 6, 1949 at Peachtree Presbyterian Church where they were members. They raised their family together and Caroline then worked with her husband in their drug store, North Side Pharmacy, for eighteen years; she was also active in the Atlanta Pharmaceutical Auxiliary. They lived in Atlanta until 1994 when they moved to Jasper, GA. Caroline was an active member of Fellowship Presbyterian Church (formerly New Lebanon Presbyterian). In 2013 they moved to Macon and attended North Macon Presbyterian. Throughout her life she taught Sunday School and Bible studies. She was active in the Presbyterian Women, serving as Moderator twice at New Lebanon. She also volunteered for Meals on Wheels; CARES (food pantry) and the Thrift Store in Jasper. She is preceded in death by her grandson David Benjamin Hawkins.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, L. Marvin Roberts, Jr and her beloved children Virginia R. Kinman (husband, Lowe); Kathy R Hawkins (husband, Jay); Beth Roberts; and Paul Roberts (wife, Leah); and grandchildren Jason Hawkins, Mary Beth Kinman, and Taylor and Travis Roberts and great grandson Benjamin Hudson Hawkins. She is also survived by her brother Sam Hodges, Jr. and brother-in-law, Eugene Roberts, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, January 20 at North Macon Presbyterian Church.
