Carolyn Cartmell, age 60 passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Hospice Savannah. The Ludowici native had lived in Tattnall County most of her life. She was a homemaker that loved to make arts and crafts and play games on her computer. Carolyn attended the Reidsville Church of God and was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Cartmell, Jr. and her father, Isaac Teston.
She is survived by her children, Thomas Grubbs and Dawn Grubbs both of Savannah; mother, Joyce Teston of Manassas; brothers, William Teston of Reidsville and Kenny Teston of Glennville; sister, Shirley Riner of Manassas; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00am on Monday December 16, 2013 with the services to follow at 1:00pm from the Glennville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home with the Reverends William and Linda Prince officiating. Interment will follow in the Wells Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be John J. Herb, David Sheldon, Jonathan Anderson, John H. Herb Jr. Lawrence Powell, Bobby Altman, Jeremy Gribble and Josh Gribble.
Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home Glennville Chapel is serving the Cartmell family.
