Carolyn Kennedy

Carolyn Saxon Kennedy, 82, a resident of Cumming, formerly of Claxton, GA, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020. She was born in Savannah, Georgia and was the daughter of Aussie Saxon and Essie Johnson Saxon. Her husband, L.B (Sonny) Kennedy, preceded her in death along with a son Martin Kennedy, and her sisters, Joan Saxon Holbrook and Barbara N. Buckner. Carolyn enjoyed gardening, reading the Bible, spoiling her dog Mister and visiting with family and friends. She is survived by her three sons, Ken and Rhonda Kennedy, Mel and Sheryl Kennedy, and Scott and Nancy Kennedy; two brothers, Aubrey Saxon and Carl Saxon; grandchildren, Nathan and Brittany, Ethan and Montana, Dalton, Amanda and Jamie, Melissa and Erik, Malorie and Ashley, Levi, Savanna; great grandchildren, Victoria, James, Kendall, and Cecelia. Her nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly also survive.

Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, May 13th, 2020 at 1pm at the Brewton Cemetery in Hagan, GA with Dr. Charles Jonas officiating.
