Carolyn Rina Knight, age 68 passed away Thursday, December 12, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Compassionate Care Hospice. She was born in Alamo, Georgia on May 5, 1951 to Saffold and Alice Rainey Watson and had lived in Savannah for most of her life. Carolyn loved to dance and was known by a multitude of people throughout the community; during her years working as a cosmetologist.  It gave her great joy to see the happiness and confidence her work could bestow on the many clients she touched.  Additionally, she was a member of Central Christian Church where she served the Lord faithfully for many years.   Above all, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who lived a life of service to others; she will be sorely missed.  She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Wayne H. Knight of Rincon; daughter and son-in-law, Angel and Brian Howard of Rincon; sister, Christine (Marvin) Viers of Graceville, FL; grandchildren, Makenzie Howard and Taylor Howard; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00pm, Monday, December 16, 2019 at Central Christian Church, 6810 Skidaway Rd, Savannah. A celebration of life will follow at 2:00pm with the Reverend Lionel Marmolejo officiating.
