Carrie Ruth Williams, age 84, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015 at her residence.  The Laurens County native had lived in many cities settling in Metter in 2008.  She was a homemaker that loved to go shopping.  Mrs. Williams attended Cedar Street Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, George Jackson and Bertha Williams; sons, Robert Paul Williams, Daniel Joseph Jefferson, and Thurman Williams, Jr.; siblings, Hazel Seabolt, Ronnie Collins and Eddie Collins.

She is survived by her husband of 55yrs, Thurman “Jack” Williams of Metter; children, Truman Joseph (Margherita) Vincent of Conyers, Pamela Ruth Hadjis of CO, Jack Steven Vincent , Randall Darris Vincent both of TN, James Leonard Williams of Metter; siblings, Geneva Green of Brooklet, Andrew Collins of SC and Thomas Collins of Nevils; twelve grandchildren; many great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00pm on Tuesday from the Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Wednesday, May 27, 2015 from the Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home & Crematory with the Reverend Marc Foster officiating.  Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Savannah.

Pallbearers will be Timothy D. Vincent, Russell Green, Jerome Vincent, Danny Vincent, Eddie Vincent, and Joseph Fell.
