Cassidy Pauline Brock Dawson, age 28, passed away April 27, 2024, in Pooler, Georgia. She was born, January 5, 1996, in Long Beach, California. She lived in California and Nevada most of her life but moved to Pooler about a year ago. Cassidy graduated in 2013 from Ortega High School in Lake Elsinore, California. She honed her skills in makeup artistry and obtained her degree from Ruby Makeup Academy in Hollywood, California. Cassidy's talent and creativity extended beyond her professional endeavors; she was remembered for her enchanted singing as part of the Worship Team at Cottonwood Church in Los Alamitos, California.
Cassidy was an old, vibrant soul with a passion for music and exceptional talent in musical theater. We will always remember her as a free spirit who found joy in the aspiration of traveling to new places and expressing herself through makeup artistry. Cassidy had a loving, giving heart and was loyal to a fault in her commitment to her friends and family. She will always be cherished for the unwavering love and care she showed as a remarkable mother to her two sons. Her warm and kind-hearted nature left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories to be carried on by her surviving family: her loving husband of 6 years, Michael Dawson of Mesa, AZ; devoted young sons Wade and Hank Dawson; Father Stefan Brock of Reno, NV. Mother Alisa Cunnington and stepfather Nate Khoury of Taccoa, GA; brother Nate Wickander of Athens, GA; maternal grandparents Lew and Betty Cunnington of Maricopa, AZ; aunt & uncle Cheri and David Alexander of Long Beach, CA, cousin Anastasia Alexander and Roy Alexander and uncle Michael Cunnington of Long Beach, CA; paternal aunt Debra Weimer of York, SC; cousins Amy Craig of York, SC and Steve Hudson of Rock Hill, SC, alongside several other adoring aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Cassidy's life will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Low Country Cremation & Burial, 135 North Main Street, Reidsville, GA with Dr. Charles Jonas officiating.
Cassidy's departure has left a void in all of us and will be deeply felt by all those whose lives she touched. She will forever be loved, missed and remembered. May her spirit soar free as she watches over her loved ones from above.
