Catherine Sharpe Lee, age 80, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 17, 2025, at The Oaks Bethany in Vidalia surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 16, 1944, in Tattnall County to Kelly and Inolia Joyce Sharpe and had lived in Miami many years moving back to Reidsville in 1990. Catherine was known for her engaging personality and strong faith, often described as a prayer warrior where she served as a faithful member of St. Phillips Baptist Church.
A pillar of the community, Catherine enjoyed a long career as a bus driver. Catherine possessed a myriad of interests outside her profession. She found joy in sewing, often creating practical and beautiful items for her family and friends. A lover of nature, she cherished her time fishing and picking up pecans, activities that brought her closer to the earth and allowed her to share memorable moments with loved ones.
