Charles E. Baker

Charles “Charlie” E. Baker age 84 of Merritt Island Florida passed away May 20, 2014 peacefully in his sleep.  Charlie grew up in Glennville and then moved to South Florida as a young man.  He made a career with Florida Power and Light as an executive; where he retired with over 40 years of service.  He is predeceased by his parents Carey and Bertha Baker.
He is survived by 1 daughter Lee Baker-Ernenwein; 2 sisters Vonette Wilson and Audrey Baker-Vogel; 1 brother Jerry Baker; 5 nephews Joe Vogel, David Baker, Mike Wilson, Steve Wilson, Robert Wilson; 2 nieces Wendy Rybka and Julie Petschke; many other great-nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Monday from the Glennville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home with the Rev. Rick Cason officiating.  Interment will follow in the Ebenezer Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
