Charles "Humpy" Willis

Mr. Charles “Humpy” Willis, age 67, passed away Wednesday July 5, 2017 at the Community Hospice Inpatient Center in Vidalia.  The Toombs County native had lived in Reidsville most of his life.  He was retired from the construction industry.  He was a craftsman that loved to build bird houses.  Humpy loved his family and was of the Church of God faith.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Louise Willis; siblings, Carlton, David, Howard, James and Arley Bo Willis and Melba Langston.

He is survived by his son, Logan (Haley) Willis of Reidsville; siblings, Curtis (Hilda) Willis of Gray, Geraldine Davis of Lyons, Ronney (Betty) Willis and Ricky (Cindy) Willis all of Reidsville; sister in law, Libby Willis of Reidsville; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00pm on Thursday from the funeral home.  Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Friday, July 7, 2017 from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial with the Reverend Ron Clark officiating.  Interment will follow in the Reidsville City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Lee Willis, Ronnie Willis, Terry Davis, Chris Davis, Austin Curl and Brian Curl.
