Charlie Nettles age 69, passed away Monday, October 20, 2014 at his residence with his wife, nephew and his great nephews by his side. The Patterson, GA native had lived in Claxton most of his life. He was self-employed as a Transportation Specialist. He loved to fish, ride his mule and motorcycle. He was a member of Ezel Lodge and preceded in death by his siblings, Larry Nettles and Dorothy Gleisberg.
Charlie is survived by his wife of 18yrs, Beth Nettles of Claxton; daughter, Tracy Prescott; step son, Bryan Nettles both of Brunswick; brother, Lewis Nettles of Claxton; nephew, David Nettles of Claxton; two great nephews, DJ & Dillon Nettles; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and numerous friends who will greatly miss Charlie.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Low Country Cremation Services and Burial is serving the Nettles family.
