Chasin David Floyd, age 32, passed away on October 5, 2022, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Growing up, Chasin was always in church and that followed into his adulthood; he deeply loved church and God. It may be no surprise that his upbringing would lead him to a love of music. In his free time, he would work to improve himself and as such, he loved to work out. Other hobbies included fishing and being a skilled cornhole player. Above all however, Chasin loved his family and his fur babies and relished all the time that he could spend with them. A young soul full of love and the life of the party anywhere he would go; he will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his Nana, Uncle Bubba, and Aunt Deborah.
Left to cherish precious memories made along life’s journey is his wife, Annie Floyd; mother, Donna (Ken) Parker and father, Charles Floyd; two sisters, Chasinee (Tom) Wilder and Taylor (Anthony) Harris; three brothers, Brent Floyd, Kenneth (Heather) Parker, and Chris (Chris) Parker; several cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends also survive.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Monday, October 10, 2022, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Lawrence Drive Baptist Church in Macon with messages of God’s love from Rev. Brandon Anderton and Rev. Phil Skelton. Services will conclude at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family would be honored for memorial donations to be sent to Good Landing Recovery Center, 256 McMillan Road Dacula GA 30019 in Chasin’s memory.
Low Country Cremation & Burial is serving the Floyd family during their time of bereavement.
