Chris Mitchell McDowell age 54, passed away Monday, November 3, 2014 at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center. The Chatham County native had lived in Statesboro for many years. He was a jack of all trades. He is preceded in death by his parents, Franklin James McDowell and Maggie Lane McDowell, and a sister.
He is survived by his children, Rebecca Lynn Chavez and Chris McDowell, Jr both of Statesboro; three brothers also survive.
The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
