Christine E. Dillard

Christine E. Dillard, age 62, passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Piedmont Hospital-Macon after a hard fought battle with COVID-19.  The Arizona native found her happiness in the warm climate of Georgia where she was able to enjoy her passions. She enjoyed planting pretty flowers and seeing her landscapes flourish with color.  Cooking up a delish new recipe. Finding special decorations to make her house a home. Nothing in her life gave her greater joy, however, than her family.  She attended to every detail to ensure that her beloved family came first and knew they were loved.  Her world definitely revolved around them.  Christine was a Christian and served her Lord from Northway Baptist Church.  A loving mother, wife, and friend; Christine will be deeply missed by all who knew her.  She is preceded in death by her first husband, and father to her daughters, Stephen Mattix.

Left to cherish memories of a life well lived are her husband of five blissful years, Marvin Dillard of Macon; three daughters, Kathy (Aaron) Easton, Ginger (C.W.) Biggs, and Holly Crawford all of Texas; six grandkids, Trevor Easton, Jarren Easton, Alden Biggs, Kasyn Biggs, Charlee Biggs, and Natalie Crawford; her mother, Susan Bagby; multiple siblings; a large number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends also survive

In attempting to protect her beloved family and friends, the family is planning graveside funeral services to be held on Monday, August 30, 2021 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in Macon with Revs. Glenn Lyles and Richard Jelley officiating.

The family is grateful for all expressions of sympathy but would be honored by donations to the missions program at Northway Church, 5915 Zebulon Rd, Macon, GA 31210.
