Shellman Bluff,
Christine Rosetta Hope age 50, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her family and under the care of Heartland Hospice. The Hinesville native had lived at Shellman Bluff most of her life. She was a homemaker that loved to bake. Christine is preceded in death by her parents, James W. and Ella Louise Clark and a brother, Wilbert Eugene Clark, Sr.
She is survived by her husband of 33yrs, Sidney Hope, Jr. of Shellman Bluff; daughter and son-in-law, Delana and Michael Thompson of Shellman Bluff; son, Sidney Hope III of Shellman Bluff; sisters, Francis Danpier of Brantley County, and Linda Holcombe of Brunswick; four grandchildren, Kelsey Hope, Sabrina Thompson, Hunter Hope and Alyssa Hope; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 10:00am on Friday, April 18, 2014 with the funeral services to follow at 12:00pm from the Darien Church of God, 1140 Blount Crossing Road, Darien, with the Reverend JT Whaley officiating. Interment will follow in the Morgan Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Sam Clark, Billy Clark, James Clark, Ben Rowe, Kevin Ryals, Christopher Hope. Honorary pallbearers will be Matthew Coleflesh and the staffs of Dr. Anthony Moran and Heartland Hospice.
