Lyons,
Christopher Lee Coursey, age 39, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born on September 6, 1982 in Savannah to Carl Claude and Betty Ann Conner Coursey. He was a self-employed contractor where he was known as the “Tile Man”. Chris was the family comedian and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his father; grandmother, Johnnie Mae Rogers and an uncle, Raymond Coursey, Sr.
He is survived by his parents, Betty Ann and Randy Harden of Lyons; siblings, Johnny Coursey of Lyons, Jeannie (Timmy) Williamson of Oak Park, Carl (Jennifer) Coursey, Christina Boyles of Lyons, Kevin Coursey of Garfield, Kelly (Jason) McClendon, Randy Harden, Jr. and Natalia Mae Wentworth all of Lyons; step sisters, Crystal (Josh) Oliver of Collins and Johnnie Faye Rogers of Lyons; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle and cousins.
The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00pm on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm on Friday, January 14, 2022 from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial in Reidsville with Reverend Johnny McCullough officiating. Interment will follow in the Harden’s Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Carl Coursey, Johnny Coursey, Kevin Coursey, Randy Harden, Dalton Harden, and Dakota Harden.
Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Coursey/Harden family.
