Christopher Eugene Glaze

Christopher Eugene Glaze went to be with the Lord early on the morning of September 17th, 2018 in Statesboro, GA. He was 50-years-old. Chris was born August 14th, 1968 in Columbus, OH to Jim and Peggy Glaze. Chris grew up in Sauk Village, IL and lived in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Georgia during his lifetime. He loved God, his family, and life. He loved fishing and being on the water, as well as sitting around the campfire enjoying nature. He could fix just about anything and was well known for his kind heart, and giving, helping hand to anyone in need. While he had his struggles, he always knew that God could and would turn every hardship into a victory.  He is preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Ann Alvey (Glaze).

He is survived by a daughter, Heather Glaze; a Son, Christopher GlazeGrandchildren, Bentlee, Leeam, and Jackson Glaze; his father, James (Jacque) Glaze; 5 sisters, Robin Lynn Glaze, Tamra (Bill) Lenior, Kimberly (John) Rogers, Kelly Puzines, and Tina (Frank) Symoniak; 3 brothers,  Michael Symoniak, Steve (Sandy) Symoniak, and Scott Glaze; an aunt, Peggy Novak; many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and extended .

Chris was also blessed to be "adopted" by another family during the last years of his life. He was lovingly taken into the Paul family headed by Kay "Grams" Paul. Grams and her two daughters Becky (Paul) Friese and Shannon (Darrin) Fleming gave Chris a home in Georgia.

A celebration of life is planned for his family in the coming months and will be announced by Low Country Cremation & Burial.
