Cody O’Neal , age 35, passed away Tuesday, April 04, 2017 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  The Wayne County native had lived in Jesup most of his life.  He was employed with Sharp Carpentry and Yoder Brothers Construction.  He was preceded in death by his father, Carroll O’Neal and his brother, Jason Hipchen.

Cody is survived by his mother and step father, Kathy and John Haggard of Reidsville; sisters, Ashley (Vinnie) Merritt and Katrina Buckley both of Jesup; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00pm Wednesday from the funeral home.  Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm, Thursday, April 6, 2017 from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial with the Reverend William Prince officiating.
