Consuelo “Connie” Padilla Sarria, age 78, passed away Monday, November 2, 2020 at the Glenvue Nursing and Rehab in Glennville.  She was born on August 23, 1942 in Managua, Nicaragua to Emilio and Genoveva Padilla.  Connie was a steadfast, staunch, and steady supporter of her entire family, but most especially of her beloved husband, Reverend Salomon Sarria, who preceded her in death by just over 5 months.  Indeed every step he took, she was there supporting the cause.  Her loving support allowed the couple to serve and minister to thousands of individuals over their life together.  Perhaps her most impactful contribution is when the couple founded Church Hispanic “The Way” of Glennville.  For their marriage, of over 63 years, she embodied Proverbs 3:13-18, which states a good wife, is worth more than rubies.   In addition, her love of caring for her family could not be hidden.  Often she would be found in the kitchen, putting her love into various dishes that would encourage the family to gather and be together.  Truly a blessed woman, delivered to her family from God himself, Connie will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Socorro Sarria of Glennville, Martha Sarria of California, Silvio (Sixto) Sarria of Ludowici , Gloria (Rafael Cruz) Sarria of Nicargua, and Jahaziel (Arielle) Sarria of Walthourville, Brad Joshuah Tahan of Tamarac, FL. and Shamah Tahan of Glennville ; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 7, 2020 from the hours of 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Glennville Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted 1:30pm on Sunday, November 8, 2020 from the Chapel of Glennville Funeral Home with the Reverend Martin Bender officiating.  Interment will follow in the Glennville City Cemetery.
