Courtney Danielle Wells , age 27, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017.  The Jesup native had lived in Effingham County for the past seventeen years.  She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her children, Mackenzie Boys of Effingham County, Daylyn Reuther and Calyann Reuther both of Columbus, OH and Danielle Bailey of Effingham County; parents, Mechelle and Kevin Sikes of Cobbtown, Wayne and Deb Wells of Belle Fontaine, OH; previous step father, Daylon Barnard; siblings, Allen Harper, Ricky Harper, Levi Harper all of Guyton, Tyler Sikes and Alex Sikes both of Bulloch County, Krislen (Chad) Wells Burnsed, Dyllan Wells, Matthew Wells all of Jesup, and Levi Wells of OH; maternal grandparents, Tony and Betty Davis of Jesup and Jimmy and Debbie Yarbrough of Brantley County; maternal great grandmother, Myrtle Yarbrough of Jesup; maternal step great grandparents, JW and Ava Nell Davis of Jesup; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00pm on Saturday, January 21, 2017 with the memorial services to follow at 2:00pm from the Flint Branch Baptist Church in Jesup with the Reverend Scott Hickox officiating.
