Cuauhtémoc del Toro González, 53, passed away in Georgia, United States, leaving a legacy of love, hard work, and unconditional dedication to his family.
He was born in 1971 and was the third of eight siblings: six sisters and one brother—Hermila, José Manuel, Verónica, Anabel, Emma, Lourdes, and Ángeles. His parents died very young, leaving them in the care of their adoptive parents, Anita and Everardo. From a young age, he was characterized as a hard-working, responsible person with a big heart. He met his wife, Mireya Araujo, and
was the father of five children: Geraldine, Cruz, Alondra, Alexis, and Karla. He was married to her for 35 years. He experienced very difficult times, such as the loss of his daughter, Cruz, when his wife was seven months pregnant, and later, the tragic death of his son, Alexis, at age 20. Despite the pain, he never stopped fighting for his family's well-being.
Among his greatest achievements was fulfilling his dream of owning his own house and land in Michoacán, and later in Tijuana, where he also built a home with great effort. He was deeply satisfied to be able to buy his own truck and a car for his daughters—details that represented very important achievements for him. One of his greatest dreams was to become a grandfather, and his daughter Alondra fulfilled that wish with the birth of his granddaughter Alexia, whom he unfortunately didn't have the opportunity to meet, but whom he loved from afar.
For many years, he worked at Bland Farms in the United States, with the sole purpose of providing a better life for his family back in Mexico. He was a man who never hesitated to sacrifice himself so that his family would lack nothing.
In Tijuana, he formed very special bonds with people who became part of his family. His sons-in-law Jesús, Ernesto, and Jhon Jairo were like sons to him. He also had a close friendship with Pedro Pérez, and always valued the company of his friends Nikol, Gil, Luis, and Yolanda, and his godchildren with whom he shared many pleasant moments.
Cuauhtémoc will be remembered as a good, hard-working, and devoted man. He bids farewell by sending a big hug to all those who were part of his life and asks to be remembered as he was: a noble person, a fighter, and with a heart full of love for his family.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Low Country Cremation & Burial.
