Cynthia Marie “Renee” Johnson was born in Lyons, GA on January 19, 1965 to Nora Lee Walker and the late Ivory Parker, Sr.She was educated in the public school system of Ludowici, GA and was a High School graduate of Long County High School in 1983.Upon completion of High School, she furthered her education at Waycross College enrolling into their nursing program. In between her schooling, she held down many jobs including: poultry work at Claxton Poultry, CNA, bartending and being a full time mother to her three daughters. In 2002, she met the love of her life, Tyron Johnson and they were united in Holy Matrimony in February 2005.After this union, she moved her residence to Waldorf, MD where she continued her line of work as a CNA at Clinton Rehabilitation Center for several years. Cynthia had many accomplishments throughout her 54 years of living including battling and defeating Stage 3 breast cancer. After being diagnosed in October 2009, she was officially declared cancer free in July 2019, after no follow up visits were needed. She also graduated from Omnitech Institute with her Medical Assistant certification in August of 2017.Cynthia found joy in drawing, writing poems, and being a wonderful grandmother to her grandchildren.Although she was loved by plenty and will be missed by many. She will be remembered by her beautiful smile and chinky eyes. Her blunt “keeping it real” personality and her ability to bring the laughter out of anyone without intent. She will be remembered for the unconditional love for her children and grandchildren. Some say they could barely hold conversations with Cynthia without her constantly bragging on her children and grandchildren’s accomplishments, which made her very proud.Lastly, she will be remembered for the “Beat EM in the HEAD” residence that she ran daily for her children and grandchildren when they misbehaved. Cynthia gained her heavenly wings on July 25, 2019 peacefully in her sleep in Lithonia, GA at home.
