Dale Lewis Prestage

Mr. Dale Lewis Prestage, age 62, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Northside Hospital in Cumming surrounded by his family.  He was born in Reidsville on September 30, 1955 to Horace Watson and Geraldine Thompson Prestage.  He graduated from Pinewood Christian Academy in the school’s first graduating class in 1973.  Dale had lived in Cumming most of his life moving to Dawsonville nine years ago.  He was a US Army Veteran and was an Electronic Technician.  He loved to hike and work on computers.  He was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by his parents.

Dale is survived by his children, Dayna (Andrew) Cass of Connecticut and Heather (Paden) Bever of Alpharetta; siblings, Diane Prestage, Watson Prestage, Anita Prestage, Ronald Prestage, and Donald Prestage; grandson, Drake Bever; father-in-law, Clyde Free; sister-in-law, Melissa (Bobby) Elliott; brother-in-law, Eddie (Fran) Free; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted 11:00am, Friday March 16, 2018 from the Reidsville City Cemetery with the Reverend Artis Carswell officiating.
