dAlisa King, age 62, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Optim Medical Center in Reidsville.  She was born in Reidsville on November 7, 1959 and had lived in Tattnall County all of her life.  She was a former Jailor with the Tattnall County Sheriff’s Office, Reidsville Firefighter, administrative assistant with Tattnall EMA, and the coordinator for the Disaster Action Team for the American Red Cross.  She loved riding the Harley with her husband.  dAlisa attended Living Free Bikers Church in Savannah and is preceded in death by her parents, McKinley “Red” and Trudy King and Emma “Boots” NeSmith.

She is survived by her husband, Derick Murray of Reidsville; her children, Trudy Leigh Elizabeth Lagrone (James Braddock) of Uvalda, John Clifton Paul Lagrone of Harlem and Derick Kendall Murray of Reidsville; siblings, Paul King of Brunswick, Sheila Jenkins of Statesboro, Sylvia (James) Mazza of Savannah, Kenny (Sandy) Lamb of Richmond Hill, Greg (Lynn) Lamb of Gordon, Michael Lamb of Marietta, and Van Lamb of Vidalia; grandchildren, Jon  Clifton Driggers of Glennville, Annamarie Driggers of Glennville,  John McKinley Clifton (Allie) Anderson of NC, Noah Robert Lee King McKee of Lyons, Landon Limuel Blake Lagrone of Texas, Evan William Wyatt Hansen of MS, Andrew Scott Lee Lagrone of Texas, Derick Eli Murray of Reidsville, Kolbu LaQuan Mobley of Collins, Mattilee Jayne Stanfield of Reidsville and Reagan Grace Stanfield of Reidsville, several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00pm on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 with the funeral services to follow at 2:30pm from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial with the Reverends Nathan Pittman and Robbie Goodman officiating.
