Daniel "Danny" Gene Bottoms

Daniel "Danny" Gene Bottoms, age 53 passed away Sunday, May 5, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his family and under the care of Hospice of South Georgia from a long illness. He was a native of Pana, Illinois, grew up in Kansas and had recently moved to Georgia.He was a long haul truck driver for 40 years and loved to travel. He was the sweetest, kindest son, brother, uncle that anyone could have. His passion was fishing in the ocean and camping. He was preceded in death by his father, John Bottoms.

He is survived by his mother Leatta Lee Bottoms, brothers, John Bottoms of Midway, Earl Bottoms, Terry Bottoms; sisters, Shareena McKinney, Julie Arnold, Shirley Southerland, LeAnna Bounsana, Janet Cook; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will held from 2:00pm-4:00pm Wednesday, May 8, 2013 with a Celebration of Life to follow at 4:00pm  from the Reidsville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Homes. Services will conclude at the chapel.
