Danny Rogers

Harley Danny Rogers, age 71, was called home Tuesday August 10th, 2021, at his residence in Thomaston, GA.  Danny’s rising was in Jacksonville, Fl. to the late Effie Rogers and Rachel Rogers of Reidsville, Georgia on June 5, 1950.

Danny served 8 years in the United States Air Force as Airplane Mechanic/Sheetmetalist.  He continued his love for airplanes when he finished his Air Force career.  He also loved to grab a fishing pole and hit the nearest body of water to clear his mind.  Danny was fiercely known for his wittiness and his gift of gab.

Danny is survived by his loving fiancee, Angela Brice; four brothers Edward, Dean, Lamar, and Wayne: as well as four sisters Silvia Smith, Dolly Rogers, Vivian Mitchell, and Brenda Johnson (Michael).  His kids are Chiquila Pebbles Johnson (Oliver), Cletisha Smith, Anthony Rogers (deceased), Christal Reid (Ron), his handsome son Alfonso Rogers (Crystal), and Brandi Brice.  He is also survived by a host of grandkids, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral Services are to be held on Friday, August 13, 2021 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Low Country Cremation & Burial in Reidsville with the Rev. Dr. Artis Carswell officiating.

Interment will follow in Sandhill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dean, Lamar, Wayne, Oliver, and Alfonso.

Low Country Cremation & Burial is serving the Rogers family during their time of bereavment.
