Darrell Lee Goff, age 57 passed away Monday, June 6, 2016 at his residence. The San Jose, California native had lived most of his life in California before moving to Georgia 2 years ago. Darrell was a mechanic by trade who enjoyed taking things apart and putting them back together. In his spare time, he made knives and truly loved seeing children’s faces light up when he gave them a recycled bicycle that he had made from old bicycles. He was a member of A New Beginning Church in Ludowici. He was preceded in death by his father, Luciano Lara.

He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Yolanda Huff of Ludowici; mother, Dorothy Lara; children, Louie Goff, Michael Goff, Monique Goff, Marcel Goff, Michele Goff; step-children, Brian Floravit, Reyna Floravit, Sara Brennan, Michael Huff, Angie Waddell; siblings, Carlos Guerrero, Donna Triste, Debbie Hernandez, Danny Lara, David Lara; also survived by several grandchildren and numerous other relatives.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00pm, Saturday, June 11, 2016 from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation Services and Burial with Josinda York officiating. Burial will be private.

Low Country Cremation Services and Burial is serving the Goff family.
