Dartha Lee“Peaches” Cunningham (Jones) age 76 passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 8th, 2018 at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro. She was born in Reidsville to Dilbon and Elfreda Sikes Jones.  Ms. Dartha was a champion who raised champions. Her greatest love was her family. She instilled in her children to work hard, live to follow your dreams, pray hard and to use all of your God given gifts. She was happiest digging holes, planting trees, and making her farm a place of love. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Dartha is survived by her 4 children: B Lee Brandon (Yoli Cabada) of Los Angeles, California, George Roger Brandon (Leanne) of Edmond, Oklahoma, Raymond (Amperita) Cunningham of Boston, Massachusetts and Michael  Dilbon (Maryanne) Cunningham of Hinesville, GA; siblings, Larie Jones Davis of Zephyr Hills, Florida, LaTrelle Jones Andrews of Warner Robins, Georgia, Dale Jones and Arthur Jones both of Wesley Chapel, Florida; grandchildren, David Brandon, James (Alisha) Brandon, Jessica Brandon, Sebastian Cunningham, Miriah Anne Cunningham; great-grandchild, Ella Brandon; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

Memorial services will be held 3:00pm, Friday, September 14, 2018 from the Chapel of Glennville Funeral Home with the Reverend Gary F. Andrews officiating. Interment will follow at Battle Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
