David Quincy Cribbs, Sr.

David Quincy Cribbs, Sr. age 69, went to his heavenly home on Friday April 16, 2021 at Meadows Park in Vidalia under the care of Community Hospice.  He was born January 1, 1952 in Savannah and had lived there for many years until he moved to Collins in 1999.  David had worked at Derst Bakery for over 30 years and  then worked for City of Collins for 12 years.  He was a member of Collins Baptist Church and is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Juanita Herring Cribbs and his wife, Diann Anderson Cribbs.

He is survived by his children, David Quincy (Stephanie) Cribbs of Hiram, GA, Susan (Matt) Ursrey of Baxley and Cherry (Bobby) Williams of Metter; siblings, Ray (Sybil) Cribbs and Ruth (Richard) Shuman all of Savannah;  grandchildren, Austin Ursrey, Cailyn Ursrey both of Baxley, Christina (Dillon) Cannon of Springfield and Bubba (Sierra) Owen of Metter; great grandchildren,  Kylie Owen, Grayson Cannon and Blakely Owen; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted 11:00am on Monday, April 19, 2021 at the Collins Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Kimbrell officiating.

Memorials may be given to Tattnall CARES.
