Mr. David G. Cummins, age 91, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his family and under the care of Hospice.  He was born November 3, 1927 in Vernon, Ohio to James Arthur and Ester Cummins.  He was an US Marine Veteran and retired from Anheuser Busch as a Brew Master. Mr. David had lived in Jacksonville, FL for 25 years before moving to Collins 22 years ago.  He was a history buff and of the Methodist Faith.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Nell Cummins.

He is survived by his children, David Cummins of Jacksonville FL, Brenda Jarriel of Collins, James (Debbie) Jarriel of Hephzibah, Mary DeLaigle of Lyons, Ricky (Diane) Jarriel of Collins, and Eddie Jarriel of Vidalia; brother, Jim Cummins of Twin Lakes, Minnesota; sisters, Florence Martie, and Roberta Rischer both of Ohio; grandchildren, Anthony Cummins, Lia Sheley, Melissa Underwood, Sheila McCant, Ashley Jarriel, Karen Bogle, Kristina Hutto, Boston Jarriel, Savannah Jarriel, Chance Jarriel, Wesley Hardee, David Hardee Jr, Lindsey Phillips, Caroline Thompson, Tracy Brantley, Chris Horton; 23 great grandchildren;step sisters, Patricia Garcia of Texas and Martha Ritch in Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial funeral services will be conducted 3:00pm Friday at the Pine Grove Baptist Church near Collins. Inurnment will be at a later date in Lyons City Cemetery.
